Excellent and timely resource
This is a beautifully written book about a topic that we as a society tend to avoid bringing into the light. As a mental health clinician and educator who has experienced childhood trauma, I am grateful for Juliana's willingness to speak from her heart about her difficult road to recovery. Juliana Rose Teal has given readers a true gift in her beautifully written memoir of healing and love. What an incredible and inspiring book! Juliana is such a gifted writer and her story is told from such a vulnerable and open viewpoint. You won’t be able to put it down. First, this book is so well written! But more importantly, it’s truly inspiring. It shares stories of hardship (not too graphic though) and stories of succeeding and prevailing despite those circumstances. It was an excellent read!
